Editor Content - Close Button
The Close Button allows visitors to manually close your popup or trigger specific actions when clicked. It gives you control over how the popup behaves when users interact with the close icon or button.
To customize its behavior, click on the Close Button element, then click the Settings icon to open the Close Button Settings panel.
Close Button Position Control
The Position section allows you to adjust the exact placement of the close button within the popup. This control helps ensure the button appears in the most visible and user-friendly spot on any layout.
Options:
- Distance to top – Sets the space between the top edge of the popup and the close button. Adjustable via slider or by entering a specific value in pixels.
- Distance to right – Sets the space between the right edge of the popup and the close button. Adjustable via slider or by entering a specific value in pixels.
Use these settings to fine-tune the button’s placement for consistent alignment across different popup designs.
Action Options
These options determine what happens when the visitor clicks the close button:
- Show This Step’s Sticker – Minimizes the popup and displays its sticker version on the page.
- End Campaign – Ends the current campaign and prevents the popup from reappearing for that visitor.
- Close – Simply closes the popup without triggering any additional action.
- Change Step – Moves the visitor to another step in a multi-step campaign.
Enable Event Bubbling
When enabled, this allows the click event of the close button to be detected and acted upon by parent elements or higher-level components. If turned off, the action is limited only to the close button itself.
Buttons
- Cancel – Discards your recent changes and keeps the previous configuration.
- Apply Changes – Saves and applies all updates made to the close button’s behavior and settings.
The Close Button Settings panel helps you define exactly how the popup should behave when a user closes it. You can choose to simply close it, show a sticker, or even end the campaign entirely—giving you full control over the visitor’s experience.
